KNOXVILLE - Patsy Nelson Luster, 69, went to be with the Lord Thursday
morning (Nov. 14, 2002) at SaintMary Holston Health Care.
Mrs. Luster is a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Texas
City, Texas. She attended Beech Grove Baptist Church (Louisville,
Tenn.) and dedicated her life to serving the Lord.
She retired fromG&T Industries on March 31, 1998 after 10 years of
service.
She was precededin death by her parents, Ivan M. Nelson and Nora
Starnes Lane; her husband,the Rev. Charles Elmer Luster; and her
grandparents, Ezra and Nannie Starnes.
Surviving are daughters, Kathy Ketron and husband Bill of Kingsport,
NancyLuster of Knoxville; son, Howard Luster and wife Theresa of
Texas City, Texas; grandchildren, David Ketron, Andrea Pondant, Amy
Joyner, Jan Luster, SherrySimmons and Jennifer Jackson;
great-grandchildren, Anthony Pondant and LaneSimmons; sister, Kaye
Medlin of Kingsport; her lifelong friend, Henrietta Kendrick; also
numerous nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 5 to 7 p.m.today at Carter-Trent Funeral Home,
downtown Kingsport.
Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel
with the Rev. David Lusterand the Rev. Joe W. Byrd officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at2 p.m. Sunday at East Lawn
Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Gary Medlin, Danny Medlin, Kevin Hite, Jason Hite,
Brandon Krantz and Andy Wolfe.
