13240. Lee Roy Taylor
BLOUNTVILLE -- Lee Roy Taylor, 57, 1129 Island Road, went to be with
the LordSaturday (Sept. 19, 1998) at the Greystone Health Care
Center.A native and lifelong resident of Sullivan County, he was a
graduate of Blountville High School. He was retired from Holston
Defense Maintenance Department. He was a member of the Cherokee Rod
and Gun Club and was an outdoorsman.He was a memberof Indian Springs
Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by his father, LeeEdward
Taylor.Surviving are his wife, Imogene Foster Taylor, of the home; two
daughters and sons-in-law, Angelia (Taylor) and Don Yates, Georgia,
and Tracie (Taylor) and Tim Candler, Kingsport; a son, Michael Lee
Taylor, Kingsport; grandchildren, Michelle Yates and Jordan Candler;
his mother and stepfather, Irene and Jack Brummitt, Kingsport; and a
brother, Lee Edward Taylor II, Missouri.Calling hours are from 6 to 8
p.m. today at East Lawn Funeral Home.Graveside services will be
conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at East Lawn Memorial Park with the Rev.
Donald Foster officiating.Pallbearers will be Todd Foster, Butch
Austin, Willis Smith, Darrell Broadwater, Mike Broadwater and Jim
Sisk.Honorary pallbearer will be F. Elmer Palmer.
Imogene and Lee Roy separated but never divorced.
