CLINCHPORT, Va. - Johnny Harold Dishner Jr., 65, entered into rest
Thursday (July 19, 2001) at his residence.
Born June 22, 1936 in Scott County, Va., Mr. Dishner was of the
Baptist faith and attended Faith Chapel Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Willie Lee Dishner.
Surviving are his father, John H. Dishner Sr., Clinchport; daughters
and sons-in-law, Teresa and Jack Lane, Terry and Ronnie Cox, Maggie
and Vernon Kern,all of Clinchport, and Margaret and Clyde Lane, Ft.
Blackmore, Va.; one sonand daughter-in-law, Johnny H. Dishner III and
his wife, Nancy, Clinchport; grandsons, Emory Mark Dishner, Wesley
Bell, Quentin Cox, Nathaniel Lane, Jeremy Neeley and James Kern;
granddaughters, Cordellia Lane and Amy Dishner; great-granddaughter,
Morgan Dishner, and great-grandson, Christian Cox; former wife, Doris
Ingle Dishner, Ft. Blackmore, Va.; one stepgranddaughter, Vickie Hass,
and one stepgreat-grandson, Tobby Hass.
Calling hours are from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Gate City Funeral
Home.
Services will be conducted at 12 noon Saturday in the Gene Falin
Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Jackie Dorton and
the Rev. Kyle Akers officiating.
Music will be providedby the Rev. Kyle Akers and The Mabe Quartet.
The family requests those who wish to make contributions, please make
them to Faith Chapel Church.
Family andfriends will serve as pallbearers.
