BIG STONE GAP, Va. - Ricky Lee Mullins, 36, died Sunday (Sept. 16,
2001) at his residence.
He was a lifelong resident of the area and was a coal miner for
Hosanna Coal Co.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are his wife, TammyMullins, of the home; father, Franklin
Mullins, Roda, Va.; and mother, Loretta Mullins, Roda, Va.; sons,
Gerald Mullins, of the home, and Ricky Jerome Estep, Big Stone Gap;
brothers, Larry W. Mullins, Appalachia, Va., Garfield D.Mullins, Big
Stone Gap, Franklin Lynn Mullins, Appalachia, Va., and Jeffery Scott
Mullins, Big Stone Gap; sisters, Peggy Bates, Dandridge, Tenn.,
Patricia Calhoun, Sevierville, and Pamela Rose Mullins, Knoxville;
nine nieces, sixnephews; two great-nieces and six great-nephews.
Calling hours are from 6 to9 p.m. today at Gilliam Funeral Home, Big
Stone Gap.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home with
the Rev. Harvey Mullins, theRev. Duke Barker and the Rev. Darvin
Woodruff officiating.
Burial will be onThursday at Sluss Family Cemetery in Big Stone Gap.
Pallbearers will be DavidBarker, Kyle Mullins, Kenneth Diets, Larry
Mullins, Clyde Stanley, Lynn Mullins, Jeffery S. Mullins and Garfield
Mullins.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ronald Bates, Larry Herron and Timmy
Calhoun.
