Billy Wayne Smith

STICKLEYVILLE, Va. - Billy Wayne Smith, 55, died Sunday (June 2, 2002)
at hisresidence after an illness.
Born in Lee County, he was a son of the late Doyle and Edith Ward
Smith, and was a retired warehouseman with Central Supply Company.
Survivors include his loving wife, Shirley Lane Smith of
Stickleyville; daughters, Christina Smith of the home, and Nancy
(Brian) Smith of Duffield, Va.; son, Billy Joe Dillowe of the home;
sister, Shirley (Jerry) Brown ofJonesville, Va.; brother, Howard
(Ursula) Smith of Kingsport; special cousin,Tommy (Sharon) Smith of
Stickleyville; grandchildren, Bradley James Smith and Brandon Michael
Smith; a host of nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will befrom 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Chapel of The
Duffield Funeral Home at Thomas Village.
Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home
chapel with Evangelist Kenneth Neeley, Pastor Bo Stewart and Mr. Don
Fleenor officiating.
Music will be provided by Pastor Bo Stewart and Nancy Garrett.
Committal services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Ward
Cemetery inStickleyville. Family and friends are asked to meet at the
funeral home at 1:30 p.m. for procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brian Smith, JimLane, Mark Byington, James M.
Lane, Cody Grey, Orbin Lane, Robbie Barnett andMatthew Lane.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Smith, Billy Wayne Young, Leroy
Dean, Gary Bush and Michael Peterson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family

WEBER CITY, Va. - Nancy Louise Rhoton Lane, 62, passed away Monday
(Sept. 8, 2003) at the Brian Center, Weber City, Va.
Mrs. Lanewas a lifelong resident of Scott County, Va.
She was preceded in death by herparents, Lee A. and Lizzie Bishop
Rhoton; sisters, Olene Darnell and BrendaRhoton.
Surviving are her son, James Lee Lane, Gate City, Va.; sister, Linda
Rhoton, Gate City, Va.; brothers, Bill Bishop and wife Lucille, Gate
City, Va., Jimmy Rhoton, Gate City, Va., and Oscar Rhoton and wife
Wanda, Church Hill; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Colonial Funeral Home in
Weber City, Va., and anytime at the residence of the sister.
Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel
with the Rev. Joe Hill officiating.
Music will be provided by the Mabe Quartet.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Rollins
Cemetery in Rye Cove, Va.
Pallbearers will be friends.
