16044. Charles Allen "Chuck" Booker
Charles "Chuck" Allen Booker, 37, of 585 Taylor Road, Oak Glen
Community, passed away at his parents' home Thursday morning (July 10,
2003) following an extended illness.
Chuck was born in Kingsport where he had lived his entire life. He was
an employee of Action Rental and later Taylor Rental where he had
worked until his illness.
Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Etta
Lane and paternal grandparents, Dan and Zora Booker.
Surviving are two sons, Shane Booker and Cody Booker, both of Gray;
his parents,Virgil and Goldie Booker, Fall Branch; one sister, Tina
McConnell and husband, Bryan, Kingsport; one brother, Michael Ray
Booker and wife, Leah, Kingsport; two nieces, Tessa and Alicia; and
three nephews, Chad, Brad and Josh.
Calling hours are from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Fall Branch
Chapel of Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Fall Branch Chapel with
Elder Everett Lett officiating.
Burial will follow at Chimney Top Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be James Dillard, Mitch Ward, Darrell Dillard, Kelly
Bledsoe, Danny Wolfe and Brian Herring.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jay Blevins, Chad Booker and Bryan
McConnell.

She wasa
member of the VFW Womens Auxiliary. She was employed at Goodwill Ind
for16
yrs, and also employed at Food City. Two husbands named (Romine and
