19, 2000) at her residence.
She was born in Dickenson County, Va. on May 12, 1913 to the late John
Henry and Martha Church Sutherland.She was a homemaker and of the
Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her
husband, Roy C. Lane, April 19, 1996.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Corrine and Eugene Grizzle,
Weber City, Va.; grandchildren and spouses, Roger and Leda Clark, Gate
City, Va., Judyand Mack Wade, Gate City, Va., Patsy and Bruce Strong,
Kingsport, Brenda andBobby Hensley, Kingsport; great-grandchildren,
Jason and Samantha Clark, Jeana Clark, Crystal Clark, and Mandy
Hensley; great-great-granddaughter, AlyssaBreElla Clark.
Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Colonial Funeral
Home, Weber City, or anytime at the residence.
Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home
chapel with the Rev. Jim L. Kilgore officiating. Music will be
provided by Janet Crawford.
Graveside serviceswill be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Holston View
Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Eugene Grizzle, Roger Clark, Jason Clark, Mack
Wade, Bruce Strong, Bobby Hensley, and Roger Jessee.
The family will meet at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Friday to go in
procession to the cemetery.

Grubb; four brothers; and two sisters.
Surviving are three sisters, Geneva Bush, Imogene "Jean" Nichols and
Joyce Spears, all of Big Stone Gap, Va.; onebrother, Alonzo Grubb,
Big Stone Gap, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home
chapel with the Rev. Michael Meade officiating.
Burial will follow in Powell Valley Memorial Gardens.
