He was the infant son of Tracey L. Wyrick and Sean D. Benton. His
g-parents were Mike and Mildred Elliott, Kpt, and Mr & Mrs Tom Wyrick,
Kpt; an aunt wasJoni Elliott, Kpt; godparents were Larry & Alice
McClellan, Kpt; and severalother grandparents and relatives. (from

Alvin Glen Jr Rhoten

BLOUNTVILLE - Alvin Glen Rhoten Jr., 31, went to be with Jesus
Thursday (March 21, 2002).
He graduated from North High School and Sanford Community College. He
attended Way of Life Baptist Church and Celebration Church.
Alvin was loved by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Zachary Glen Rhoten;
paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Myrtle Rhoten; and maternal
grandparents, Waldo and Mae Hicks.
Surviving are his mother, Doris Rhoten, Blountville; father, Glen
Rhoten and wife, Lisa, Blountville; two sisters, Joyce Sutherland and
husband, Todd, Church Hill and Lora Jean Cruz, Kingsport; two
brothers, Ronnie Hahn, Kingsport and Dustin Shores, Blountville; three
nieces; one nephew; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Calling hoursare from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral
Home, downtown Kingsport, or anytime at the home of his father, 652
Big Hollow Road, Blountville orthe home of his sister, Joyce
Sutherland, 212 Renee Place, Church Hill.
Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel
with Rev.Johnny Gibson and Dr. Craig Fry officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Oak Hill
Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Hahn,Todd Sutherland, Wayne Jennings,
Richard Easterling, Tommy Hicks, Lee Hicks,Johnny Hicks and Dustin
Shores.
