19412. Amy Lyn Jennings
KINGSPORT - Amy Lyn Jennings, 28, of 601 Peach Orchard Drive, found a
place of rest and peace with the Lord on Friday (June 30, 2000).
A native and lifelong resident of Kingsport, she is the beloved
daughter of Gregory Boyd Jenningsof Kingsport and Cathy McCurry
Jennings of Greeneville.
Ms. Jennings was agraduate of Sullivan North High School.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, J.C. and
Georgia Mae Tipton Jennings.
Surviving are one son, Joseph Brett Hall, Mount Carmel; one brother
and sister-in-law, Alan Shaneand Rebecca Jennings, Knoxville; her
maternal grandparents, Lynn and DorothyMcCurry, Greeneville; one
niece, Julia Jennings; and one nephew, Jacob Jennings; several aunts,
uncles and cousins.
Calling hours are from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Carter-Trent Funeral Home,
downtown.
A memorial service will be conducted at 6 p.m. today (7/4/2000) in the
funeral home chapel with the Rev. Donnie Derrick officiating.

Lived at Gate City in 2001.
GATE CITY, Va. - Judy McDavid Cole, 58, passed away Friday (Oct. 12,
2001) at Indian Path Medical Center.
She was born in Kingsport and had lived most of her life in Gate City,
Va. She graduated from Gate City High School and attended East
Tennessee State University.
She had worked for People Life Insurance Co. She was a home interior
decorator and worked for Home Interior and Gifts. She was manager and
operator of Reco Pizza inWeber City.
She was a very fine Christian lady, loving wife, mother and
grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her father, Keith McDavid, April 2001.
Surviving are her husband, Ronald Cole, of the home; two daughters,
Melissa Cole Carico and Angela Cole Quillen, both of Gate City, Va.;
her mother, Evelyn Reed McDavid, Gate City, Va.; one brother, Dr. Rick
McDavid and his wife, Pam, Johnson City; foster brother, Larry Reed
and his wife, Reeta, Sevierville; three grandchildren, Dylan Parker
Carico, Katelyn Paige Carico, Solomon Preston Quillen; several aunts,
uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Carter-Trent Funeral
Home, Kingsport. Friends may also call anytime at the residence at 187
W. Elm St., Gate City, Va.
Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel
withPastor Craig Culbertson and Pastor Lynn Lane officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Oak Hill
Cemetery.
Pallbearers will befamily and friends.
