TAMPA, Fla. - Judith A. Williams, 54, entered into rest on Sunday
(April 8, 2001).
She was a member of West Gate Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Denise Williams, Tampa; son, Scott
Williams, Valrico, Fla.; parents,Howard and Sylvia Arnold, Tampa;
aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Scott (Reba) Hackney, Gate City, Va.;
aunt, Ethel Wallace, Bristol, Tenn.
Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Blount Curry &
Roel, West Hillsborough Chapel, Tampa.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at West Gate Baptist Church,
5121 Kelly Road.
Interment will follow at Sylvan Abby Memorial Park, Clearwater, Fla.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to LifePath Hospice, 3010 W.
Azeele, Tampa, Fla. 33609.

Benjamin Banks "Benny" Duncan

GATE CITY, Va. _ Benjamin (Benny) Banks Duncan, 42, of Route 3,
departed thislife Monday (April 24, 2000) in Spartanburg, S.C.
He was born in Sullivan County, but grew up in Scott County, Va. He
graduated from Gate City High Schooland served in the National Guard.
He was a member of Rock View Central Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Nadine Ferrell
Duncan.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Lee Griffin Duncan, Gate City, Va.; sons,
Benjamin Banks Duncan Jr. and Nathan Daniel Duncan, both of Gate City,
Va.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Johnny and Opal Duncan, Clinchport,
Va., Rickyand Judy Duncan, Gate City, Va., and David R. and Teresa
Duncan, Boiling Springs, S.C.; several nieces and nephews; a
sister-in-law, Elizabeth Ann (Sissy) Griffin, Johnson City;
mother-in-law, Janice Gibson, Gate City, Va.; and father-in-law and
wife, Henry (Bud) and Elizabeth Barker, Bainbridge, Ohio.
Calling hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Scott County Funeral Home,
Weber City, Va., and anytime at the home of Janice Gibson, East
Jackson Street, GateCity, Va.
Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel
with the Rev. Mack Daugherty and the Rev. Kenneth Kiser officiating.
Musicwill be by Homeward Bound Singers and Cleda Sampson.
Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Duncan Family Cemetery
Fairview, Va.
