KINGSPORT - Brent Neal Byington, 27, 1013 Packinghouse Road, died
Tuesday (Jan. 1, 2002) at Holston Valley Medical Center due to
automobile injuries.
A lifelong resident of Sullivan County, he was employed in
construction work. Heattended Gravely Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Neal and
Paralee Hensley Byington.
Surviving are his mother, Debbie Amyx Byington, Kingsport; his father
and stepmother, Neal and Sue Byington, Kingsport; one daughter, Kerina
Byington, Gulf Port, Miss.; two sons, CodyYounce, Blountville, and
Ethan Byington, Kingsport; one sister, Crystal Byington, Kingsport;
maternal grandparents, Ray and Iva Christian Amyx, Kingsport;his
girlfriend, Julie Johnson, Kingsport; one nephew, Hunter Byington,
Kingsport; and several cousins, aunts and uncles.
Calling hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Carter-Trent Funeral Home,
downtown.
Services will be conductedat 7 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel
with Pastor David Salley officiating.
Entombment services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at East Lawn
Memorial Park.
Family and friends attending the entombment service are asked tomeet
at the cemetery at 10:55 a.m.
Pallbearers will be Timmy Wallen, StevenMaxwell, Chip Rupe, Ben Amyx,
Kevin Haynes and Adam Hawkins.
