Jeremiah acquired the name "Bad Jerry" for his fast gun and his involvement
in the Breathitt County feuds that took place in the late 1800's. Jeremiah
Weldon "Bad Jerry" Little was killed by a rolling log on December 28, 1891 near
Jackson and was buried in the Little Cemetery (now the Jackson Cemetery).
