Obituary - Williams, Minnie:
Minnie Williams of Thornton, died July 7, 2007 at Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital, Whitesburg, Letcher Co KY. She was 82 years old. A daughter of the late Arthur and Nannie Sergent Lucas, she was the widow of Ray Williams. She was the mother of the late Donald Ray Williams and Kenny Williams; a sister of the late Luther J. Lucas and Vula Blair; and the grandmother of the late Michelle Williams Begley. She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Ables, Columbus, Ind., and Barbara Craft, Martinsville, Ind.; a brother, Billy Don Lucas, Cowan; three sisters, Jean Fields and Sandy Lucas, both of Whitesburg, and Carolyn Vanover, Thornton; six grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held July 10 at the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church. Burial was in Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine, Letcher Co KY. Letcher Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
