C.C. CAUDILL IS BURIED AT SANGO
District 1 Resident, Victim of Pneumonia, Leaves 15 Children
Burial was made Friday, October 10, at 3 p. m., in the Sango cemetery for C. C. Caudill, 62, of the First district, whose death Wednesday night was the result of pneumonia. Services were conducted from the Sango Methodist church by the pastor, the Rev. C. M. Charles.
Mr. Caudill was a native of Bedford county, Ky., and was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Caudill. He had lived in this section since 33 years. He was twice married, first to Miss Jane Maggard, whose death occurred March 2, 1917. Eleven sons and daughters
of this union survive. They are Mrs. R. L. Brawner of Nashville, Johnnie Caudill, of Evansville, Ind.; Mrs. Steve Bradbury, Port Royal; Willie, Clifton and Archie Caudill, of Detroit; Mrs. G. D. Smith, Detroit; Charles Caudill, Jr., a resident of Florida; Mrs. Robert Carter of Sango; Burrell Caudill of Sango, and Teddie Caudill of Guthrie, Ky.
Mr. Caudill's second marriage was on June 21, 1919, to Mrs. Charlia Trent. Four children born of this union survive. They are Flem, Idyll, Eula Mae and Ire E. Caudill. He also leaves a stepdaughter, Mary Jane Trent.
