Virginia S. Todaro, 80, of Center Line, MI, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007. She was born March 8, 1927, in Detroit, MI.

Mrs. Todaro is survived by her children, Kathleen, Nick (Angel) and Nicole (Julio) Vargas; and grandchildren, Krystal, Justin, Nick Jr., Breanna, Diane and Julio IV. She was predeceased by her husband, Nickolas (Todaro).

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Clement Catholic Church, 25320 Van Dyke, Center Line, with the Rev. Michael Gawlowski officiating. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Detroit, MI.

Visitation is 3-9 p.m. Tuesday and 1-9 p.m. Wednesday, with a 7:30 p.m. rosary recital, at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr (at Masonic), Warren. Additional visitation is 9:30-10 a.m. Thursday at the church.

God saw that she was getting tired
and a cure was not to be
so he put his arms around her
and whispered come home to me

With tearful eyes we watched her suffer
and saw her fade away
although we loved her dearly
we could not ask her to stay

A golden heart stopped beating
a determined spirit was at rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
