7 July 2009: Get well wishes to Rheba Potter Arnold - Hines who had surgery today. Rheba is the daughter of Clabe Potter and Anna Lee Hall. Rheba's sister, Hazel Potter Thompson has let us know that Rheba has come through the surgery well and will likely spend several days in the hospital. 24 January, 2009: Get well wishes for Wesley Matthew Davis, grandson of Allen Meador and Anne Holbrook Meador. Anne wrote: Wesley got sick and had to be taken to the hospital where they have kept him over night, he has allergies really bad and a breaking out comes on his skin then starts swelling inside his little body and out, which is a really scary thing, but they started the meds quickly so everything is looking better this morning. Wesley was supposed to be in Sacramento KY today for a meeting with his civil war reenactment group and was so disappointed he will be unable to go, please keep Wesley in your prayers also and that the doctors will find out what is causing these problems. 13 October 2008: Pinky Potter d/o Bundy Potter and Lillie Dean, is in the hospital. Please keep her in your prayers. Received and email from Pinky's daughter, Sue who wrote the following: She (Pinky Potter) wanted me to let everyone know she has been in the hospital since Monday. She is having trouble breathing from the fluid around her lungs. She is very tired, uncomfortable and not eating well. When Dad and I went to the hospital today, the oncologist was there. He said a thoracic doctor would see mom tomorrow and they are discussing the best course of action to take. He said they may put a drain tube in and that way when she comes home, if she starts filling up with fluid again, she can unlock the valve and drain it herself. At this point, nothing is definite. Please continue to send up prayers and thank you for the prayers already sent. Love, Sue. Tuesday, they drained 3 liters of fluid off Mom's lung. Her lung did not re-expand so they put her on a ventilator in a medical coma and they put in a valve to make any future draining easier. Yesterday, they drained another 3 liters. She came off the ventilator yesterday and was awake and eating. She felt much better being able to breathe. My sister told me they say Mom might even come home in a few days. That is all the information I have for now but as I get updates, I will pass them on. I thank all of you for your care and concern. Update 12 Nov 2008: Pinky Potter has passed away on 12 Nov 2008 Letcher Co KY (our heartfelt condolences go out to this family for their loss)

8 July, 2008: Get well wishes go out to Jinaquin Thompson, daughter of Alethea Potter and 1st husband, Darrell Thompson. I received the following from Clark Potter, Alethea's father today: Jinaquin is home as of yesterday and we went to visit and take a walker and chair for the bath tub to assist her in her needs. It was wonderful seeing her to be able to sit up with minimum assistance. She has been through very challenging times. We are claiming full recovery through the Lords healing.

Eulis "Bubby" Adams III

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Eulis Adams III, son of Eulis Adams Jr and Rosemary Adams. Eulis Adams Jr is son of Gloria Faye Fleming and Eulis Alfred Adams.  Eulis Adams III was in a serious car accident in which he and a friend were badly injured.
