Obituary - Myrtle Kelly
(September 23, 1921 - January 29, 2009)
Myrtle Kelly age 87 passed away Thursday, 1-29-2009 at Mt. View Health Care Center. Myrtle was born on Sept 23rd, 1921 to her parents the late Marion Mullins and Peggy Mullins. She was retired from the Pike County School System, a member of Hylton Freewill Baptist church, and a member of Hylton Church Ladies Auxillary. Along with her parents, Myrtle was preceded in death by two daughters, Jackie and Sharon. Myrtle is survived by one son, Eddie Kelly of Caney Hwy., one daughter, Phyllis Lovett of Lexington, Ky., three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Sunday 2-1-2009 at 12 noon at the Hylton Freewill Baptist Church with Homer Lee Mullins and Tommy England officiating. The burial will follow in the Kelly Cemetery at Burdine, Kentucky.
