B.W.(BRACK) BENTLEY, AGE 85, GARRETT, DIES; WAS
RETIRED
MERCHANT
B. W. (Brack) Bentley, 85, of Garrett, was claimed
by the infirmities of old age at 4:05 a. m. Sunday at home.
He had
been in ill health over two years. He was a retired merchant
and
farmer.
Mr. Bentley was a son of George and Mary Bentley. His
wife, Sallie Bentley, preceded him in death. He was a member
of the
United Baptist Church fro 27 years.
Surviving are four sons
and a daughter: Bud Bentley, Richard Bentley, and Edd
Bentley, all
of Garrett. Mrs. Annie Ward, Marrow, Ohio; one step-son, Lee
Wallen, also of Garrett, survives. Surviving are two sisters,
Mrs
Goldie Lawson, of Garrett, and Mrs. Lizzie Bentley,in Ohio.
Funeral rites were conducted at 10 a. m. Tuesday from the
Little
Union United Baptist Church at Garrett, the Revs. Millard
Blanton
and Johnny king officiating. Burial was made in the family
cemetery
under the direction of Hall Brothers Funeral Home.
