Carrie (McBee) Adams, age 88, of Hazard, KY, died Thursday, February 3, 2005 at Hazard ARH Medical Center in Hazard, KY. She was the daughter of the late Robert McBee and Rosalee Harris. She is preceded in death by her husband, Abel Adams. She is survived by one daughter, Ludie Beatrice Luddington; four grandchildren Paul Michael Cornett, Pamela Kaye Combs, Angela Scarborough, and Bevery Okumu; ten great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Maggard Brothers Funeral Home, Hazard, KY, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 7. Dora Amis, age 88, of Buckhorn, KY, died Monday, June 20, 2005, at home. She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Amis; and two sons Willie Amis and Earl Amis Jr. She is survived by two daughters Elsie Amis and Julie Gay; six sons Curtis Amis, Dale Amis, John Amis, Robert Amis, Vernon, Amis and Billy Roy Amis; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Ellen Faye Asher, age 64, of Florence, KY died Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at Pattie Clay Hospital in Richmond, KY. She was the daughter of the late Estill Jent and Susan Lewis Jent. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Asher. She is survived by her two sons Robert Begley of Round Lake, IL and Ronnie Lahr of Slaughters, KY; six sisters  Corina Baits (Bates?), Evlee Hollins, Gevnea Pearl, Lena Faye Beckley, Carolyn Miller, and Phyllis Owens; five brothers Hurbert Jent, Thomas Jent; John Jent; Elmer Jent; and Leroy Jent; and 4 grandchildren. Baker, Charles Ted

Charles Ted Baker died May 31 at Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital, Whitesburg, Letcher Co KY. He was 67 years old.  Born in Letcher County, he was a son of the late Charlie and Gracie Short Baker. He was the father of the late Jeffrey Lynn Baker, and the great-grandfather of the late Eric Hammonds. He was married to the late Mary Katherine Baker and later married the late Meldia Slone Baker. he was a member of the Neon Pentecostal Church, Neon, Letcher Co KY and had worked for the Kentucky Division of Forestry for 19 years and as a school bus driver for the Jenkins Head Start.  Surviving are two sons, Charles Michael Baker and wife Kimberly, Whitesburg, KY, and John Dewayne Baker, Neon, KY; a daughter, Geneva Ann Sandlin and husband Charlie, Mallie; a brother, Douglas Baker, Whitesburg, KY; two sisters, Bonnie Thomas, Pippa Passes, KY, and Anna Johnson, Neon; 11 grandchildren, April Hammonds, Crissy Slone, Kimberly Hogg, Jeremy Wright, Cory Baker, Bobbie Baker, Jonnie Baker, Adriene Baker, John Dewayne Baker II, Megan Baker, and Dalton Bailey; and a great-granddaughter, Alissa Brianne Hogg.  Funeral services were held June 2 at Everidge Funeral Home. Burial was in the Neon Community Cemetery, Neon, KY.

Baker, Cynthia Church

Funeral services for Cynthia Baker, 86, were held January 24 in Wise, Va. Burial was in the Wise Cemetery, Wise Co VA. A daughter of the late Virgil and Sarah Jane Church, she was married to the late James "Tate" Hylton, the late Jack Johnson, and the late Samuel Baker Sr. She was the mother of the late Joe Hylton, the stepmother of the late Minerva Holcomb, and a sister of the late Carson Church, Lillie Luckadoo, and Jencie Meade.  Mrs. Baker died January 22 at the Mountain View Regional Medical Center in Norton, Va. She was a member of the Dunham Bethel Old Regular Baptist Church.  Surviving are two daughters, Eunice Clark, Wise, Va., and Barbara Turnmyre, Jenkins; three sons, James "Buddy" Hylton, Bethlehem, Ga.; Jerry Hylton, Wise, Va.; and Roger Johnson, Jenkins; five stepchildren; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; a brother, Clayton Church, Pound, Va.; and a friend, Louella Smith.

Roberta Baker, age 93, of Viper, KY, died Saturday, February 26, 2005 at her residence. She is survived by two daughters Susan Grace Holbrook of Richmond, KY, and Maria Jonell Basso of Hazard, KY; one son Johnny James Basso of Hazard, KY; one sister Maurine Castegnaro of Hardburley, KY; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Iona Abner Begley, age 84, of London, KY (formerly of Buckhorn, KY), died Sunday, April 24, 2005 at Hazard ARMC. Blair, William H. "Bill":

William H. "Bill" Blair, 93, of Wilmore, Kentucky, died June 1 at Thomson Hood Veterans Center. Born at Colson, Kentucky, he was graduated from Whitesburg High School, Whitesburg, Letcher Co KY in 1934. He was married to the late Doll Craft Blair and after her death married Hazel Quillen Blair, who survives him. Bill and Doll Craft owned and operated a restaurant in Whitesburg, Letcher Co KY until he entered the U.S. Army. He returned home to Letcher County and was in coal mining, preparation and sales for 30 years. The couple moved to Lexington, Fayette Co KY, in 1973. Craft was a World War II veteran, a member of Whitesburg United Methodist Church, Whitesburg, Letcher Co KY, a lifelong member of Whitesburg Lions Club, and a member of the Lexington Country Club, Lexington, Fayette Co KY, for more than 30 years.  Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons, William H. Blair Jr. and wife Kathleen, Robert Blair and wife Karen, and Paul Blair and wife Mary; a daughter, Deborah Blair Whorley and husband Robert; 10 grandchildren, Kristy Galic and husband Ivan, Candace Blair, Bobby Blair, Tracy Haus and husband Greg, Laura Blair and husband Jason Thompson, Bill Blair and wife Amanda, Katie Blair, Jenny Blair, Drew Whorley, and Peyton Whorley; four great grandchildren, Cameron and Malaina Galic, Carter Haus, and Angus Blair; a sister, Gertrude Pasley; and a brother, Hager Blair. Bowling, Hubert:

Hubert Bowling, age 71, of Whitesburg, KY, died Monday, August 1, 2005 at Whitesburg ARH. He was the son of the late Merida and Susie Williams bowling. He is preceded in death by three brothers Jesse, James and Johnny Bowling. He is survived by his two daughters Pamela Hatton and Heather Haley; special family, Jessie Faye; two grandchildren Hannah Haley and Haden Haley. She was the daughter of the late Dave Speaks and the late Ann Stidham. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Louise Pennington and Gay Fugate; brother Don Speaks and granddaughter Alicia Ann Craft Farler. She is survived by her husband, Kenny Brashear; daughters Deborah Louise Craft, Jill Darko and Janet Leigh Sandlin; son David Kendrick Brashear; grandchildren Bobby John Combs, Rebecca Ann Feltner, Jennifer Michelle Brashear, Makenzie Brooke Brashear, Jacob Kendrick Brashear and Kayla Elizabeth Sandlin. She is also survived by one great grandchild, Harli McKenna Feltner. Dustin Ryan Buckner, age 14, of Hazard, KY, died Monday, May 23, 2005 at Holson Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN after a motorcycle accident. He is survived by his parents, John Mark and Melissa Darlene Buckner; one brother, Brandon David Buckner; grandparents, Jim and Peggy Buckner and grandmother, Janice Sue Banks. Mary Edna Fugate Campbell, age 68 of Hardshell, Ky passed away June 20, 2008 of a long illness. Mrs. Campbell was the d/o the late Alexander and Sarah Combs Fugate. She was the widowed wife of Jerry Campbell. Eureka Caudill, age 72, of Hazard, KY passed away on Friday, January 14, at home. She was the daughter of the late Adrian Ambrose and Dosha Mae Lewis Ambrose. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kermit Caudill, sisters Bertha Mae Bowling, grandson Michael Casey Caudill and grandson James Fletcher Collins. She is survived by two daughters Jennifer Eversole of Hazard and Valerie Coberg of Hazard, four sons Greg Price of Tennessee; Kermit Caudill Jr. of Ohio; Mike Caudill of Hindman; and Rick Caudill of Hazard. She is also survived by seven brothers Eugene Hoskins, George Ambrose, Adain Ambrose, Johnny Ambrose, Ted Ambrose, Nelson Ambrose, and Bobby Ambrose and three sisters Lucinda Jones, Shirley Feltner, and Carolyn Bunnage and fifteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Rudd Caudill - Published: Wednesday, September 10, 2008 8:14 AM CDT: Rudd Caudill, born March 22, 1944, departed this life on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at his residence in Hazard, KY. He was 64 years, five months and five days of age at the time of his passing. He was born in Hazard, KY, the son of the late Leslie Caudill and the late Christobel Caudill. He was a life long resident of Perry County and was a member of the New Hope Christian Center and enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He leaves the following relatives surviving: wife Brenda Caudill of Hazard; son John Rudd Caudill and wife Holly of Hazard, KY; daughter Tonya Godsey and husband Roy of Hazard, KY; brother Robert “Bobby” Caudill and wife Janie of Pikeville, KY; sister Agnes Gail Caudill of Hazard, KY; grandchildren Cameron Caudill, Nicholas Godsey and Hannah Caudill. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends survive. John Collett, 86, of Hazard, KY, died Wednesday, August 6, 2008, at the Eastern Kentucky Veterans Center in Hazard, KY. He was the son of the late John Collett and Eller Bowling. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mavis Barker Collett. He is survived by three daughters, Lana Dean and Sarge Thomas, Patty and Charles Micks and Pamela Collett and Curt Spencer; sons John Michael and Carolyn Cornett, Marhsall Curtis and Norma Collett, Marvin Collett and Robert Dale and Rebecca Collett. He is also survived by special friend Frank Beckler; nine grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Published: Wednesday, September 10, 2008 8:14 AM CDT: Arlie Combs, 82, of Massillon, died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008 at Aultman Hospital following a period of declining health. He was born in Ary, Ky. on Dec. 10, 1925 to the late Estill and Eliza Mae (Grigsby) Combs and had lived most of his life near Massillon. He retired in 1985 from the former Union Drawn Division of Republic Steel and had attended Calvary Baptist Church in Moffit Heights. He was a WWII Army Air Corp Veteran having served in the European Theater as a nose gunner on a B-24 Bomber. He was a former member of the Tuslaw Lions Club. On Dec. 30, 1950, he married Alberta Jane Strunk. She died July 27, 1992. He is survived by nine children, Wayne (Lisa) Combs of Greenville, Dale Combs and Linda Jane Combs, both of Massillon, Dianne (Ron) Mohn of North Lawrence, Steven (Linda) Combs of Orrville, Adrian (Gail) Combs and Douglas (Karen) Combs, both of Stanwood, Michael Combs of Dalton and Jeffrey (Debbie) Combs of Columbus; 29 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; two sisters, Irene (Jerry) Eversole of Scottsburg, IN and Beulah J. “BJ” Rudy of Wooster; his companion, Clara Brugh of Massillon; and his faithful dog, Puggy. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Peggy Combs; and two sisters, Izo Lyttle and Eula Remenaric. Martha Coots Combs, 84, of Corbin, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. Mrs. Combs was born on April 5, 1924 in Perry County, Ky., a daughter to the late Monroe Coots and the late Mallie Wells Coots. She was a retired cook and had been a resident of Corbin for the last 14 years having moved from Cumberland, Ky. She believed in the Pentecostal faith. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Ernest Combs; two brothers, Lloyd and Elmer Coots; and three sisters, Janie Cody, Ollie Meeks and Lulu Caudill. She was born July 17, 1920 in Doorway, Ky. to the late Amerida and Minta (Gay) Begley. She was a lifelong member of the Buckhorn Presbyterian Church where she served as a deacon, elder and choir member. She was a retired elementary educator and guidance counselor for the Perry County, KY and Hazard, KY City School Systems with over 45 years of service. She was a member of the Booneville Chapter #446 Order of Easter Star. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Jesse Elmer Eversole, Sr. who passed away January 20, 2002; and brothers William, Ira. Imogene Combs Fugate Mrs. Imogene Combs Fugate died June 20, 2008 in her home in Decatur, Georgia, at the age of 80. Born in Hazard, Kentucky in November of 1927 to Pearl Huff Combs and George Curtis Combs, she was the beloved wife for over 40 years of Isaac S. Fugate, who predeceased her in 1993. A graduate of the University of Kentucky with a degree in Journalism, Mrs. Fugate taught English and other subjects to hundreds of students at schools in Kentucky and Georgia. She retired as the head of the English Department at Brunswick High School in Brunswick, Georgia where she also advised the student newspaper staff. In addition to her service as a teacher, Mrs. Fugate contributed to the communities in which she lived in numerous ways, as a Girl Scout leader and in her service to the Methodist churches she faithfully attended. During the last decade, Mrs. Fugate devoted her life to the care of her mother, who died this year at the age of 102. Mrs. Fugate is survived by a daughter, Jane Fugate Thorpe of Atlanta, and two grandchildren, Scott Curtis Thorpe of Washington, D.C. and Sara Page Thorpe, a rising junior at Miami University of Ohio. Mrs. Fugate’s husband Isaac attended Alice Lloyd College, which provides educational opportunities to needy Appalachian young people, and contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to Alice Lloyd College, Pippa Passes, Kentucky, 41844, “In Memory of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Fugate.”  Visitation will be at 2:00 p.m. on June 25 in the parlor in the Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church Sunday School building in Atlanta, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. in the little Chapel in the same building. There will also be a graveside service, next month, on July 21 at 2:00 p.m., at Englewood Cemetery in Hazard, Kentucky.

He was the son of the late Henry Hall and the late Dallie Napier. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Athlene Hall, one sister and five brothers. He is survived by his wife, Sue Hall; daughters Revella “Sis” Amburgey and husband David, Darlene “Do-Do Bird” Shell and husband Bobby, Regina Strong and husband Jack and Faronia Gross and husband Scott; sons Henry “Tick” Hall, James “Crow” Hall and wife Tracy and Scottie “Chigger” Hall and wife Denise. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is survived by his wife, Helena Hammock; son Richard Lee Hammock; daughter-in-law Teresa Meyers Hammock; and grandson Richard “Rickey” Lewis Hammock. Susie Hatton, 81, of Hazard, KY, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2008, at the Hazard ARH Regional Medical Center, Hazard, KY. She was the daughter of the late Green M. Baker and the late Sarah Stidham. She was preceded in death by five sisters and one brother. She was 80 years, two months and 10 days of age at the time of her passing. She was born in Perry County, KY, the daughter of the late Martin Pelfrey and the late Lilly Smith Pelfrey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Noplis; brother Ishmael Pelfrey; sister Marie Kennedy; great grandchild Chloe Skyler Hall and one son-in-law, Merle Cox. She leaves the following relative surviving: son Ronnie Noplis of Hazard, KY; daughters Wanda Pinson and Donald of Sidney, Ky., Connie Cox of Hazard, KY and Tammy Kull and Steve of Frankfort, KY; brothers Darrell Pelfrey and Willard Pelfrey of Berea, KY. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 4, 2008, at the Engle-Walker Perry County Chapel on Morton Blvd. with Rev. James Hamblin officiating. The visitation was held at the chapel on Thursday evening.

She is survived by three daughters Sally G. Colwell, Ruby Stidham, and Barbara Sumner; three sons Bertis Baker, Eligie Pennington, and Ronald A. Joe Bernard Pratt, age 58 of Monticello (formerly of Leatherwood, KY ), passed away on Friday, January 14,at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset. He was the son of Maerine Field Pratt and the late Ernest Pratt. He is survived by his spouse, Carolyn Miniard Pratt of Monticello, daughters Karen Pratt and Miranda (Jamie) Catron both of Monticello, sisters Janis Pratt Davis of St. Simons Island, GA; and Joyce Pratt of Brunswick, GA; and one brother, William Jack Pratt of Hazard, KY. He was a army veteran from the Vietnam era and retired from Arch Mineral. Mr. Pratt was a member of the Elk Spring Baptist Church of Monticello and a member of the Nolan Lodge #806 of Pine Mountain, KY. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 17, at the Hoyt G. Hickey & Son Funeral Home in Monticello, KY, Brother Stan Stevenson and Brother Charles Shepherd officiating. Masonic Service will be held 7 p.m. on Sunday at the Monticello Lodge #431. She was 84 years, eight months and 26 days of age at the time of her passing. She was born in Lothair the daughter of the late Charles Monroe Riddle and the late Louraniah Campbell Riddle. She was a life-long resident of Perry County, KY and was a long time employee of Jerry’s restaurant in Hazard, KY. She is preceded in death by five brothers: Norval, Olbert, Odis, Charles and James Riddle. She leaves the following relatives surviving: three sisters, Loretta Sturgeon of Las Vegas, Nevada, Betty Sparkman of Cromona, Ky. and Shirley Stacy Wallick of Peoria, Az.; special friends Debbie Hall of Lothair, KY and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends survive. Josephine Fitzpatrick Shepherd passed away August 16, 2008. She was born January 10, 1916 in Whitesburg, Ky. to the late Dr. John D. Fitzpartick and Eunice Baker Fitzpatrick. Josephine was retired from Pet Dairy in Hazard, Ky. She has resided in Lexington and Harlan since leaving Hazard. She received great pleasure from her family, friends and pets. As a member of the First Baptist Church of Hazard, she gave her time, talents and love serving anyway she could. Josephine was also a member of the Hazard Chapter of the D.A.R. During over 30 years of membership to the Garden Club of Perry Co., she served in many offices and committees. Josie was also a member of Kentucky Preceptor Phi chapter of Beta Sigma Phi and XI PSI Chapter. She served in many offices including President and on many committees. She was also given the honor of being named girl of the year. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son: John Ogden Shepherd; her husband: William Ogden Shepherd; a sister: Pauline F. Russell; brothers: John D. Fitzpatrick, Thomas Y. Fitzpatrick and James Fitzpatrick. She leaves surviving a sister-in-law: Ruby S. Underwood, Louise Gayheart

Louise Gayheart Underwood Published: Wednesday, July 2, 2008 8:17 AM CDT Mrs. Louise Gayheart Underwood, age 72, passed away Monday, June 23 in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born at Dwarf, Kentucky, and was a member of the Dwarf Baptist Church. She was the former head bookkeeper for Heleringers Furniture. Louise was also president of the Concerned Families of Hazelwood and liaison between State Government and Hazelwood ICF/MR. Over the years she had worked closely with five governors and earned the respect of newly elected officials. Many times she has pulled strings to halt legislation that would have undermined quality of life for people with disabilities. As special projects director and “the voice” of Hazelwood Center, she has helped transform Kentucky into a national leader in mental retardation services. Dr. Henry Hood, director of the Underwood and Lee Clinic, said “I have never met anyone that holds a candle to Louise Underwood.” The Velvet Hammer, according to Dr. Hood, still makes politicians “quake in their boots.” He asked her how she swayed them, year after year, and she answered: “Simply, you just don’t let up.”  Louise was preceded in death by her parents: Chester Arthur and Mollie Everage Gayheart, and brothers: Bill and Dickie Gayheart. She leaves surviving the following relatives: loving husband of 47 years: Samuel H. Underwood of Louisville, KY, only sister: Juanita Gayheart Duff of Air Port Gardens, KY; nieces: Barbara Ann Dixon of Louisville, KY, Michelle Dixon of Louisville, KY, Natasha Dixon Marlow & Todd of Louisville, KY, Donna Kaye Gayheart of Lotts Creek, KY, nephews: Elijah “Eli” Dixon of Louisville, KY, Jack Gayheart & Judy of Xenia, OH, William Brook Miller of Lexington, KY, including Ray Underwood of Louisville, KY, special friend: Leroy Parnell of Louisville, KY, best friend: Kathleen Miller of Vest, KY, and of course her beloved dog: Ranger. Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Gayheart Underwood were held Saturday, June 28 at the Engle-Walker Funeral Home at 301 East Main St.-Hazard, KY with Rev. Larry N. Keaton officiating. Burial followed at the Engle Cemetery in Trace Branch, KY, she was be buried beside her parents. Visitation was Wednesday, June 25 at the Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home at 2114 West Market St. Louisville, KY, and Friday, June 27 at the Engle Walker Funeral Home in Hazard, KY. Sharon Jean Campbell Wagers: Published: Wednesday, August 20, 2008 9:02 AM CDT: Sharon Jean Campbell Wagers, 57, formerly of Perry County, KY, died Sunday, August 10, 2008 at her residence in Nicholasville, Ky. She was the daughter of the late Gene Baker and the late Edith Pratt. She is preceded in death by two brothers. She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Slatten and Jane and Todd Shultz.; sister Connie Baker; half-sister Kaye; half-brothers Ronnie and Donnie; grandchildren Justin Brewer, Becky Shultz, Michael Shultz and Caleb Slatten. John Watts, age 74, of Haw River, N.C. died Friday, February 4, 2005 at Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington, N.C.. He was the son of the late Vanzel and Alpha Cornett. He is preceded in death by five brothers Bethal Watts, Otis Watts, Williams Watts, Darrel Watts, and J.P. Watts. He is survived by his wife, Matta (Marie) Brashear Watts; two daughters Darleen J. Church of Haw River, N.C. and honorary daughter Debbie Watts of Louisville, KY; one son, Terry L. Watts of Rolling Prairie, IN; three sisters Lena Morgan of Viper, KY, Sally Caudill of Viper, KY and Dora Ward of Lynchburg, VA; and two brothers Robert Watts of London, KY and Randolph Watts of Hamilton, OH. Dixie Lessie Whitaker, age 66 of Hazard, KY died Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at Hazard Medical Center. She is the daughter of the late Earn Minix and Myrtle Montgomery Minix. She is preceded in death by her daughters Marsha Whitaker and Mary Whitaker, son Floyd Whitaker, and two sisters Opal Manns and Glenna Faye Maupin. She is survived by her husband, Jack Whitaker; daughter Patricia (Trish) Whitaker of Grapevine, KY; two sons Boyd Whitaker and Jesse Whitaker both of Grapevine, KY; two sisters Hattie Campbell of North Judson, IN and Phyllis Gross of Jackson, KY; four brothers Ocie Rowe of Tuson, AZ; Floyd Carson Rowe; Hillard James Minix; and Bobby Ray Minix all of North Judson, IN; grandson Ryan Chase Whitaker and a host of nieces and nephews. Published: Wednesday, September 10, 2008 8:14 AM CDT: Margaret Ann White, born April 2, 1934, departed this life on Thursday, September 4, 2008, at the Hazard ARH Regional Medical Center. She was 74 years, five months and two days of age at the time of her passing. She was born at Meadow Branch, KY, the daughter of the late Riley Morris and the late Virgie Campbell Morris. She was a retired nurse’s aid from the Hazard ARH and a life long resident of Perry County, KY. She was also a member of the Buckhorn Church of God. She enjoyed quilting, going to church and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her sister, Edna Vires. She leaves the following relatives surviving: husband Tom White of Yerkes; daughter Rhonda Roberts of Yerkes; sisters Peggy Sizemore of Austin, In., Helen Hoskins of Milan, Mi. and Linday White of Austin, In. She is also survived by four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of other realtives and many friends.

Mary Hospital and the Hazard ARH Regional Medical Center. She is survived by one daughter, Sandra and Reenie Feltner; grandson Scott Feltner; granddaughter Marcia and Kevin Ward; great granddaughter Dancia Ward; sisters Mallie Elrod and Nancy Harvey; brothers John Dixon, Lee Dixon and Carlen Dixon. She is preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Ben Williams; parents I.D. and Effie Dixon and brothers Ralph, Edgar, Corbett and Charles Dixon. He is survived by his wife, Linda Williams; sons Joey Woods and Summer of Mosheim, Tn. and Christopher Williams and wife Felicia of Hazard, KY; daughters Amanda Johnson and husband Rodney of Hazard, KY and Elizabeth Weston and husband Jamie of Jonesville, Va.; grandchildren Ashley Johnson, Aeriel Williams, Nick Johnson, Haley Woods, Brook Woods, Kayla Weston, Tiffany Williams and future granddaughter; brother Phillip Wayne Williams and wife Kathy of Kentucky and two sisters, Phyllis Coots and husband Benny of Hazard, KY and Lenora Smith and husband Larry of Lebanon, In. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
