The Rev. Ewell M. Logue, 83, of Fayetteville died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 6, 1903, in Madison County, the son of Melvin and Flora Mathis Logue. He was a retired ordained Baptist minister and served 50 years in the ministry. His first full-time church was the Johnson Baptist Church at Johnson and he served twice for a total of ten years. He organized the First Baptist church at Buena Park, Calif. He also served as pastor of the First Baptist church at Barling for two years, the First Baptist church at Farmington, the Second Baptist church in Fayetteville (where he served twice for a total of ten years) and the First Baptist church at Gassville for three and one-half years. He served as interim pastor for many of the small community churches in Northwest Arkansas and retired from the Fayetteville Second Baptist Church. He served in the United States Army and was a member of the Washington Co. Masonic Lodge and the Fayetteville First Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Hazel Condra Logue, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Billie Lee Spencer of Springfield, Missouri and Mrs. Carolyn Lou Haskins of Mountain Home; four brothers, W. M. and Ray L. Logue both of Fayetteville, M. E. Logue of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Afton B. Logue of Orange, California; two sisters, Miss Vera Lee Logue and Mrs. Ruth Logue Tweedy, both of Santa Ana, Calif., several grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Fayetteville with burial in Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
Visitations will be until 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to 12 noon Tuesday at the chapel.

Bessie Pearl Terry was the daughter of Martha Frances Osburn and James Noah Terry and the granddaughter of William H. Osburn and Lydia Evans. She was born on May 22, 1989 in Sunset, Washington Co, AR. She married Roy Osburn on March 20, 1920 in Fayetteville, Washington Co, AR. Roy was the son of Henry Columbus Osburn and Rose Ann Guinn. Henry was the son of Jonathan Osburn and Martha Angeline Skelton (a relative of the comedian Red Skelton). Jonathan Osburn, Henry's father, was a son of Jesse Osborn and Elizabeth Lemaster as was William's father Ed. Thus Roy and Bessie Pearl were 2nd cousins once removed. They were the parents of:

6414. Harley Ralph Terry

Harley Ralph Terry, called Ralph, was the son of James Noah Terry and Martha Frances Osburn Terry. He was born on August 25, 1908 in Sunset, Washington Co, AR. He worked for the railroad. He married Ethel Mae Dockery, daughter of John and Millie Dockery, on December 18, 1933. Ralph and Ethel were the parents of Randal Terry, Barbara Mae Terry, Joan Terry, Wanda Helen Terry, and Darlene Terry. Ralph died on May 12, 1978 in Fayetteville, Washington Co, AR. The location of his grave is unknown.

6415. Milburn Luster Terry

Milburn Luster Terry was the son of Martha Frances Osburn and James Noah Terry. He married Ora Theo Bradley. They were the parents of Tom, Duane, and Kenneth. Milburn had worked as a welder for the University of Arkansas Physical Plant. He was an avid fan of the Lady Razorbacks basketball team and the Greenland Pirates.

Milburn was preceded in death by his wife, Oma Theo Bradley Terry; his parents Clark Henderson Terry and Tobitha Jane Long Terry; and siblings Bessie Pearl Terry (Osburn),
James Lemoine Terry, Flora Etta Terry (Wells), Oma Terry, Hugh Garland Terry, Harly Ralph Terry, and Mabel Terry (Wilson). Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law Tom and Diane Terry of Fort Leavenworth, KS, Duane and Pat Terry of Cleveland, OK, and Kenneth and Beth Terry of Fayetteville, AR; 11 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.


Ora Theo Bradley

Ora Theo Bradley was the daughter of Thomas Bruce Bradley and Mary Louisa Porter. She was born on 26 September 1910 in Lipan, Hood Co, TX. She married Milburn Luster Terry from Sunset, Washington Co, AR. They were the parents of Tom, Duane, and Kenneth Terry.

Ora was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Bruce Bradley and Mary Louisa Porter Bradley. She was survived by her husband, Milburn Luster Terry and three sons Tom Terry, Duane Terry, and Kenneth Terry.

Zeffie Cagle

"Zeffie D. Doss, 87, of Ozark, died Monday, February 5, 1996 in an Ozark hospital.

She was a retired grocery and gas merchant and a member of First Baptist Church in Ozark.

She was the widow of Samuel Doss.
She is survived by two daughters, Edna Ross of Altus and Carol Cordell of Ozark; two sons, Robert of Lake Charles, La., and Dean of Ozark.

Funeral services were held in First Baptist Church of Ozark with burial at Belt Cemetery."


10411. Robert Lee Doss

Robert L. Doss, 75 of Lake Charles, Louisiana, died Monday, August 15, 2005 in Lake Charles. He was born September 26, 1929 in Ozark.

He was a veteran of the Korean War serving there from January 1951 to October 1952, during which he received the Korean Service Medal with Bronze Service Star. He was a retired electronics engineer with the Federal Aviation Administration and was a commercial shrimper and crabber in Big Lake.

He was survived by his wife, Shirley; two daughters, Beverly and Tammy Tyler of Lake Charles, La; a sister, Carol Cordell of Ozark; a brother, Harold Doss of Ozark; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel in Ozark with burial at Mountain View Cemetery."
