Her Mother Martha "Patsy" Brashears, b about 1765 VA. (Offsite Source).

Barbara is on the 1860 Mooney Township Census, Madison Co, Arkansas, as Patsy, as Age 60 years old and living with Grandson Robert Ritchie. Barbara "Barbary" Bailey's father, Joseph Bailey is also buried at their home place, off Highway 23, Fleming Creek area, Madison Co, Arkansas
