Benjamin "E.B.":
Funeral services for E.B. Addington Jr., 80, were held August 9, 2007 at
Letcher Funeral Home. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery in Whitesburg, KY.
A son of the late Elihu B. and Pricy Cook Taylor Addington, he died August 7,
2007 at his home at Ermine, KY. Addington had been employed by the Letcher
County Board of Education where he was the school bus maintenance supervisor.
He was married to the late Margaret Franklin Addington, and was a brother of
the late Golda Blair Riffe, Martha Stamper, Sallie Cook, Edna Maggard, Rebecca
Barnhart, Elsie Webb, Henry Taylor, Edgar Addington, Lundy Addington, Langley
Addington, Leonard Addington, and Earl Owen Addington. Surviving are two
daughters, Zandra Perry and husband Willie, Ermine, and Linda Clark and
husband David, Whitesburg; a sister, Jean Adams and husband Melvin,
Huntington, W.Va.; two grandchildren, Sherry Howard and husband Michael, and
Steven Perry and wife Jessie, all of Ermine, KY; two great-grandchildren,
Jacob Sexton and Jared Sexton; and a friend, Rachel Sturgill. Posted in the

Obituary: Lena Jean
Addington Adams, 80, of Jupiter, Fla., died June 13, 2010. A daughter of the
late Pricey Cook and Elihu Benjamin Addington, she was born at Ermine, Letcher
County, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by a brother, the late Elihu
Benjamin Addington Jr., a sister, Goldie Addington Blair Rife, and 11 half
brothers and half sisters. She was a member of The Loxahatchee Club in Jupiter,
Fla., and a past member of Guyan Golf & Country Club in Huntington, W.Va., where
she served one year as President of the Ladies 18 Hole Group. She attended the
First Presbyterian Church of Jupiter/Tequesta in Florida and First Presbyterian
Church in Huntington. Surviving is her husband of 62 years, William Melvin
Adams. She is also survived by three children, Gary William Adams and wife
Alicia of Huntington, W.Va., Deborah Adams Cooper and husband J. Gregory of
Cynthiana, and Kimberly Adams Wilson and husband C.E. Wilson Jr. of Huntington,
W.Va.; grandchildren Bonner William Adams and wife Sarah, and their daughter
Eloise Gregory Adams of Huntington, W.Va., Taylor Gordon Adams and wife Jennifer
and their son Davis Robert Adams of Redondo Beach, Calif., James Curtis Matthew
Cooper and fiancé Erin Lindsey Galasso of Lexington, Lindsay Wilson Taylor and
husband Jarrod, and their son Jarrod Stewart Spencer Taylor II of University
City, Mo., Anna Gayle Cooper of Oak Park, Ill., and Clinton Earl Wilson III of
