Obituary: POTTER, Marvin V. 86 of Maineville, died Sunday, September 21, 2014. Born to Elmon Grady and Polly Ann (nee: Bentley) Potter on December 29, 1927 in Seco, KY. Marvin was a United States Army veteran serving in WWII. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Oscar Potter and one sister, Enola Williams. Marvin is survived by his wife Verna (nee: Combs) Potter of Maineville, one son, David W. (Christina) Potter of Maineville, one daughter, Marla G. (Darren) Bandy of Maineville and four grandchildren, McKenzie Bandy, Daniel Bandy, Dylan Potter and Shelby Potter. Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd from 6:00-8:00PM at Vale- Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow. A funeral service was held on Wednesday. September 24th at 11:00AM also at the funeral home. Interment followed in Morrow Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marvin Potters name to Little Family Regular Baptist Church in Jacksonburg, OH. Obituary: WILLIAMS, Enola (nee: Potter), 79, of Louisville, formerly of Morrow, OH died Friday April 8, 2005. Born June 15, 1925 in Millstone, KY to Elmon G. and Polly Ann (nee: Bentley) Potter, she was a member of the Energized Baptist Church in Louisville. She was inducted as the First Mother of the church. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Arville W. Williams, one daughter, Lana Kaye Melton and one brother, Oscar Potter, survivors include three sons, Darrell (Paula) Williams of Monroe, OH, Donald Williams of Lebanon, OH, Arville Van (Jacqueline) Williams of Cincinnati, OH, five daughters, Sandra (Dorsey) Hopkins of South Lebanon, OH, Judith (David) Estel of Ocala, FL, Sherry (Milton) Seymore of Louisville, KY, Diana Marlene Burns of Maineville, OH, and Mia Lynn Williams of Sevierville, TN, one brother, Marvin (Verna Mae) Potter of Maineville, OH, 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Visitation was held Tuesday April 12, 2005 from 6-8 PM with funeral service on Wednesday April 13, 2005 at 11:00 AM, all at the Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow, OH. Reverend Milton Seymore officiated with interment following in Morrow Cemetery. Memorials requested to the Energized Baptist Church Building Fund or to the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements by the Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow.
