Reed Potter 83, of Elkhorn Creek Rd., passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2008. He was born October 3, 1924 at Ashcamp, KY. Reed was the son of the late John Morgan and Spicy Damron Potter. He was also preceded in death by fourteen brothers and sisters. He was the owner and operator of L. R. Fuels, a member of the Masonic Lodge at Jenkins, KY, and a member of the Hylton Freewill Baptist Church. Reed is survived by his wife Lorene Wynn Potter of Elkhorn Creek, one son, Reed D. Potter Jr. (Misty) of Pikeville, KY, two daughters Shawna P. (Jimmy) Crum of Ashcamp, KY, Jill P. (Jerry) Morgan of Ashcamp, Ky, one brother, Gordon Potter of Ashcamp, KY, seven grandchildren, James Brandon Crum, Joshua Reed Crum, Jeremy Dean Morgan, Christy M. Ratliff, Dustin Reed Potter, Ethan Garrett Potter, Michael Joseph Potter, eight great-grandchildren, Clay Morgan, Reagan Morgan (deceased), Connor Ratliff, Hannah Miller, Gabriel Crum, Zachary Crum, Gavin Crum, Kaden Crum. Visitation will be 6 pm Friday, June 20, at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted 11 am Saturday, June 21, 2008 at the Hylton Freewill Baptist Church. The burial will follow in the John Morgan Family Cemetery at Ashcamp. Special services Friday at 7 PM

JMP was in fact only married to the first two wifes you have listed. He is my grandfather and I never even heard of the the lady listed as his third wife.
