Myrtle Mae Ward COEBURN, Va. "I have fought a good
fight, I have finished my course, and I have kept the faith!" II Timothy 4:7
Myrtle Mae Ward, 90, passed away Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010, at the Herit age
Hall Wise, Va. She became a christian at a very early age, and was a great
witness for the Lord, she witnessed to every one she came in contact with,
and all that knew her, knew she loved the Lord with all her heart. She was
preceded in death by her son, Earl Pettijohn; and her grandson, Anthony
Scott Blevins. Surviving are her daughter, Debra Pickett of Coeburn; two
sons, Roger Dellinger and his wife, Barbara of Coeburn, and Rick Dellinger
and his wife, Judy of Midlothian, Va.; six grandchildren; 10
great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and two sisters, Peggy
Ramsdail and her husband, Bob of Lima, Ohio, and Nettie Bentley and her
husband, Roy of Newark, Ohio. The family will receive friends Sunday, Feb.
7, 2010, 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sturgill Funeral Home, 310 6th Street NW,
Coeburn, Va. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday in the
Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel Coeburn with the Rev. Stephen Pettijohn and the
Rev. Darrell Milgrim officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Acres
Cemetery Coeburn. Sturgill Funeral Homes, 310 6th Street NW, Coeburn, VA
24230, in charge of arrangements.
