Obituary, John Paul Sturgill: June 22, 2008 - John Paul Sturgill, 73, of McRoberts passed away Sunday, June 22, 2008 at the Wellmont Hospice Center in Bristol, Tennessee. Paul was the son of the late Audie and Liddie Stidham Sturgill. Surviving are 2 daughters: Lydia Ann Lay and Sandy Franks both of Ohio; 1 brother: Jim Sturgill of Whitesburg; 1 stepdaughter: Donna Mullins of Ohio; 1 stepbrother: Henderson Stidham of Tacoma, Virginia; 2 sisters: Gladys Murphy of Greenup and Virginia Jo Stallard of Peru, Indiana along with a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine, Kentucky.
