Reuben married Priscilla Staton ¹ about 1794 in Virginia. Priscilla was born about 1774 in Greenville SC. She died in Aug 1849 in Pike Co., KY.

They had the following children:

+	4	M	iii	Joseph Rutherford was born about 1795. He died before 1870.

+	6	M	v	Reuben Rutherford was born in 1798. He died in 1870/1880.
+	7	M	vi	Robert Rutherford was born in 1802.
+	8	F	vii	Jane Ellen (Ellender) Rutherford was born on 8 Mar 1802.
