Still later at the marriage of Aaron Sheffey in 1860, Polly is listed with Amos as the parents. Did one woman have all three names or did Amos marry again at some time?

Amos passed the major part of his life near Brunley Gap, Washington County, Va where he was a prosperous farmer. He maintained his home in Washington County until his death.
