Chilt and Sallie lived on Collier Creek until about 1906, when they moved to Washington County, Ohio. They stayed there about two years and then moved to Oklahoma where they finally settled near Weatherford. It was there that Sallie became ill with cancer. She died on October 1, 1931, at McKinney, Texas, where she had been taken for treatment. She was buried in the Plainview Cemetery at Weatherford. She and Chilt had eight children: Maude May Bishop, Dee L. Bishop, Henry Price Bishop, Della Emma Bishop, Mary Bishop, Annie Lee Bishop, Tabitha Bishop, and Belva Lena Bishop. 8. William Edison "Bill" Sparks (Dr.) b 16 May 1874 Lawrenceburg, KY d 31 May 1947 Elliott Co KY; shot at his home on Wells Creek by Emmett Spencer, a young man who lived a few miles from Dr. Sparks;

Notes by John Stegall "MyFamily.com Elliott Co, KY Family Branches" Oct 2005: May 31, 1947: Dr. William Edison "Bill" Sparks was shot at his home on Wells Creek. Death came a few days later on the date indicated. Dr. Sparks, a native of Blaine, graduated from Louisville Medical College in 1907, and practiced medicine in Elliott County for many years. Emmett Spencer, a young man who lived a few miles farther up Wells Creek was convicted of Dr. Sparks' death.
