John was a farmer, Sawmill worker, carpenter and storekeeper
John Henry Jackson Parker worked in a saw mill in Cullman, Ala. In
1920 at the age of 35, John owned his own farm in Cullman. In 1940 he
moved to Hampton, Florida, Purchasing a grocery store and operating it
till he retired. The store was demolished in a hurrican or big wind and
was re-built. He retired at the age of 75. The store has been since
demolished.John died at the age of 93 in a hospital in Waycross, Georgia
