She m. pos. #1: in Virginia to FRANCIS BROWNING, with whom she had four sons. One story says that they did not get along well and her father, Henry Sword, told her that if she would bring her children up in the name of Sword that he would support her and the children. So her four boys were known as Luke, John, Henry, and Francis Sword. After she went to Pikeville, Pike Co., KY she m. #2: JACOB SYCK, who was b. abt. 1761 to 1775; d. aft. 1820 when he appears in the Federal Census of Floyd Co., KY. They divorced in 1832 in Pike Co., KY.
