Obituary
Mary Taylor Kilgore: Services are set for Mary Kilgore: Funeral
services for Mary Taylor Kilgore, 75, of Rutledge, Tenn., will be held at 11
a.m. today (Wednesday) at Letcher Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Adams
Cemetery at Ermine, Letcher Co KY.
A daughter of the late Sammy and Crissie Adams Taylor, she died December 8,
2007 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Fayette Co KY. She was the
widow of Lawrence Kilgore and the mother of the late Burnice Perry and George
Kilgore, stepmother of the late Lottie Kilgore and Barbara Kilgore, and
grandmother of the late Roger Allen Kilgore.
She was a member of the Poor Valley Pentecostal Church in Rutledge. Survivors
include three sons, Charles Kilgore, Whitesburg; Roger Kilgore, Rutledge,
Tenn.; and Lawrence Douglas Kilgore, Neon; two daughters, Crissie Reynolds,
Rutledge, Tenn., and Brenda Cook, Gordon; four stepsons, William Arnold
Kilgore, Elmo Kilgore, Denver Ray Kilgore, and Walter James Kilgore, all of
Columbus, Ohio; a son-in-law, Paul; a friend, Norwood Potter; 13
grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandsons.
