Greenville Wolford m. 11 Nov 1884 Grundy, Buchanan Co VA to Mariah Louise Charles b 27 May 1865 Phelps, Pike Co KY d 1934 Freeburn, Pike Co KY; accidentally killed by her 7 year old granson, Fred Wolford Jr. with a hunting rifle; buried Pounding Mill Road, Freeburn, Pike Co KY; d/o John J Charles and Sarah Ann Francis. The Wolford Family Cemetery, which is where Mariah and her family were buried was destroyed by the county when a road went through Pounding Mill. There are several graves in the paved road you drive over. Theirs are two of them. Children of Greenville Wolford and Mariah Louise Charles;

Jessie Wolford b 1895 Freeburn, Pike Co KY d abt 1912 Grapevine, Pike Co KY; killed in the old Grapevine Coal Mines; buried Wolford Family Cemetery, which is where Jessie and his family were buried was destroyed by the county when a road went through Pounding Mill. There are several graves in the paved road you drive over. His is one of them.
