Obituary: Cora Clark, 93, Columbus
Cora Clark, 93, of Franklin Street died at 12:50 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14, 2008, at
her home. Mrs. Clark retired from Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. where
she served as a custodian. She was a member of Seventh Street Church of God.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick
Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Jerry Ballard officiating.
Calling will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday and from 12:30 p.m. until service time
Monday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery. Memorials may be made to
Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Online condolences may be

Born in Baker, Ky., Oct. 14, 1915, Mrs. Clark was the daughter of Frank and
Nancy Bentley Potter. She married Harvey Wright, then later married Howard
Clark. Survivors include children, Harvey Wright of Aurora, Colo., Carol and her
husband Aaron Cain of Columbus, Douglas and his wife Pat Wright of Thorton, Ky.,
and Danny and his wife Delores Wright of Greensburg; half sisters, Mertley Ward
of Virginia, Nettie Bentley and Peggy Ramsdail, both of Ohio; grandchildren,
Sherry Hennies, Doug Wright, Brad Wright, Madonna King, Nancy Wright, Michelle
Hall, Candy Wright and Greg Wright; stepgrandchildren, Vickie Rose, Roger Ozbun
Jr., Rickie Ozbun, Emanuel Cain, Ritchie Cain, Charles Cain, Sharon Carmichael,
Pam Donnell and Charlene Cottrill; 12 great-grandchildren; 32 stepgreat-grandchildren;
and one great-great-grandchild.
