Obituary of Lula Wright
Lula Wright, age 94, of Glenroy, passed away Friday, January 12,
2007, at the Edgewood Manor Nursing Facility in Wellston. She was born August
29, 1912 in Jenkins, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Linzo and Cordelia
Mullins Rose. Lula was a homemaker and attended the Glenroy Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by her children, Hassell Wright of Byer, Buddy
Wright of Glenroy, Paul Wright of Wellston, Gary Wright of Texas and Patricia
Ann Livingston of Dayton; brothers, Marvin Rose of North Carolina and Linzie
Rose of Tennessee; sister, Mildred Perdue of West Va., as well as several
grandchildren, great and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,
Forester Franklin Wright; sons, Danny, Murrel, Hershell and Odna, and her
grandson, John F. Wright. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 2 to 6 p.m. at the
McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11
a.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Byer Cemetery.
