Earl Jack Blair died November 21, 2007 at the age of 89.
Born in Letcher County, KY, he was a son of the late Dave and Martha Blair and was the widower of Ruby Blair. He was the father of the late John Blair.
Blair was a member and a deacon of the Millstone, Kentucky Methodist Church and chaplain of the Mayking, Kentucky Fire Department. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He worked for Inland Steel and Island Creek Coal Company.
Surviving are a son, Bill Blair, Bottom Fork, KY; two daughters, Ada Chafin and husband Dave, Bottom Fork, KY, and Donna Hall and husband Major "Red", River Rouge, Mich.; a sister, Anna Huff, Cincinnati, Ohio; a brother, Bill Blair, South Carolina; nine grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
