Notes for Jesse P. Caudill: Jesse and Biddie are buried in the family cemetery on the Lonnie Edwards farm two miles southeast of Whitehead, NC. Though tradition holds that Jesse is the son of James Caudill, Jr. and Mary Adams, some (including Clayton R.
