Man Hangs Self in Neon Jail

Jesse McFall, citizen of Dry Fork, died Thursday, Sept. 6 (1945) in the jail at Neon. From the evidence reported he had hanged himself a few hours before the Jailer found the body. The jury summoned to investigate the death returned a verdict of suicide. Mr. McFall was born Nov. 24, 1876, being 69 years, 9 months and 13 days of age at his passing. His wife preceded him in death about three years ago and since that time he had made his home among his children. Three daughters and one son, Jasper McFall reside on Dry Fork. Funeral services were held at the home of his daughter Mrs. Martin Hampton of Millstone, Ky., on Sunday, Sept. 9 1945 at 10:00 A. M. o'clock. Burial in the family cemetery, Millstone. The Craft Funeral Home had charge of the last rites.
