CORA B. MULLINS, age 77 of Dayton, Ohio died Sunday evening, May 20, 2001 at Kettering Hospital in Kettering, Ohio after an extended illness. Born on January 12, 1924 in Millstone, Ky. the daughter of the late Otho & Nancy A. (Hall) Bentley. Preceded in death by Daughter: Linda Kay King in 2000; Granddaughter: Diane Kay King in 1990 Brothers & Sisters: Mary Bentley; Opal Bentley; Nettie Halcomb; Stella Salyers; Otho Bentley, Jr. Willie Bentley; Laura Stallard; Wilma Benge and Sabrina Blair.
Survivors: Husband of 58 years: James D. Mullins; Daughters & Sons-in-law: Margaret A. & David Schenck, Arcanum, OH, Karen E. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Family will receive friends on Wednesday May 23, 2001 from 4 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mullins, James D., “JD”, age 90, of Dayton, passed away Monday, July 27, 2015. He was retired from Schriber/Harris Graphics. He was a member of the John W. Durst, Masonic Lodge 716. JD was the son of James & Cora Wright Mullins, and was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Cora Bentley; daughter, Linda Kay and her husband Jack King; 2 granddaughters, Diane Kay King and Barbara Schenck Knapp.He was also preceded in death by his siblings,Lonnie Bentley, L.Jesse Mullins, Vera E. Murphy, and Anna Mae Mazikowski.
He is survived by 5 children, Margaret (David) Schenck of Arcanum, OH, Karen E. Mullins of Lewisburg, OH, Jesse (Debra) Mullins of Germantown, OH, David (Debora) Mullins of Troy, OH, Donna (Gary) Dursch of Germantown, OH; 10 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2015 from 2:00 until 5:00 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in JD’s memory.

Born on April 13, 1944 in Fleming, KY she was the daughter of James D. & Cora (Bentley) Mullins. She had worked at T.R.W. Lucas Ledex where she was a team leader. Preceded in death by Husband: Jack E. King in 1988; Daughter: Diane Kay King in 1990.

Jack E. King, 43, of Ackton St., Lewisburg, died Wednesday morning, February 17, 1988 at his home after an extended illness. He has lived in Lewisburg since 1982 and formerly lived in Montgomery County. Preceded in death by father, Adrian who died in 1949 and a brother, Denny who died in 1987.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Kay (Mullins) King; mother, Lella Michael of New Lebanon; son, Jack Adrian King of Xenia; daughter, Diane Kay King of Lewisburg; sister, Loy Cerf of Chicago, Ill.; brother, Ernie Pester of Lewisburg; and one grandson.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 19, 1988 - 1:30 p.m. at Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. Henry C. Mallon officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 18, 1988 from 5 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

DIANE KAY KING, age 22, of Lewisburg, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 1990 as the result of a traffic accident. Diane was a 1985 graduate of the Tri-County North High School and the Montgomery County Joint Vocational School. She was currently attending Sinclair Community College. Diane was employed as an office manager at the MJS Construction Supply Company in Springboro. Preceded in death by her Father: Jack E. King in 1988.
