Obituary: Lake Bentley Pass
21 Dec 1919 - 8 Jun 2008

Funeral services for Lake Bentley Pass, 88, will be held at 1 p.m. today (Wednesday), June 11, 2008 at Everidge Funeral Home. Burial will be in Powell Valley Memorial Gardens at Powell Valley, Va. A daughter of the late Otho and Nancy Hall Bentley, she was born at Millstone, KY. She died June 8, 2008 at Shady Lawn Nursing Center in Cadiz, KY.

Mrs. Pass was a member of the Church of Christ in LaFollette, Tenn. She was a retired nurse and was the mother of the late James Pass. She was a sister of the late Willie Bentley, Otho Bentley, Can Bentley, Stella Salyers, Mary Bentley, Nattie Taylor, Laura Stallard, Atha Caudill, Wilma Benge, Cora Mullins, Opal Bentley, and Sabrina Blair.

She is survived by two daughters, Julia Robinson, Jacksboro, Tenn., and Rebecca Hughes, Cadiz, KY; a son, Bob Pass, Indianapolis, Ind.; two sisters, Lettie Totten, Freeburn, KY, and Anna Sue Tucker, Millstone, KY; six brothers, D.V. Bentley, Joe Bentley, and Jerry Bentley, all of Millstone, KY; John Vent Bentley and Jimmy Bentley, both of Cleveland, Ohio; and Freddy Bentley, Dayton, Ohio; nine grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
