Descendants of James Isaac Plymale


8. Mary Ann Polly Plymale

Note: Mary was married in the home of her father on May 16, 1867. His home was located in Hamilton City, a suburb of Catlettsburg, Kentucky. They settled in Ohio where there first seven children were born. About 1881, they then also moved to Franklin County, Arkansas, where the next five children were born. They moved to the Bellingham, Whatcom County, Washington area in 1908 and settled in an area called Fairhaven where they spent the remainder of their lives.

Ruben Harrison Rowe

Note: Rubin H Rowe served during the Civil War in Co D, 39th Kentucky Infantry Regiment. Death Certificate, Rec. #258, File 11797. His pension papers describe him as 5 ft 6 1/4 inches, blue eyes, light complexion, occupation Farmer. He attested that he had lived in Orange County, Ohio 7 yrs; Adams County, Ohio 4 yrs; Watulula, Franklin County, Arkansas 20 yrs; and Bellingham, Whatcom County, Washington the remainder of his life. He was pensioned under Certificate No. 961501, June 27, 1890. Rubin was disabled at time of separation by a cut on the ball of his right foot causing his toes to be stiff.

10. John Anderson Plymale

Note: Obit. of John A. Plymale. The funeral of John A. Plymale, 74 years old, who died Saturday at Kansas City, Missouri., was held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Chapel of the Putman Funeral Home. Dr. Wallace R. Bacon, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiated, and burial was in the Oak cemetery. Mr Plymale died after an illness of about a week. He was field superintendent of the American Syrup and Sorghum Company of South Fort Smith and had been visiting in Kansas City since Dec. 21. The body was returned here Sunday. Pallbearers were: George Wessale, Charlie Schlinger, Sam Mullen, Tony Homan, Remmel Plymale and Jesse Robinson.
