Raymond McClelland Crabtree, age 75, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the UK Bluegrass Hospice Care Center. He was born August 9th, 1945 in South Webster, Ohio to the late Lewis and Mildred Triggs Crabtree. Ray was retired from Okonite after 28yrs of service and was an ordained Pentecostal minister for over 52 years.
Other than his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Wanda Estepp and Rosie Riggs and one brother, David Crabtree.
He is survived by the love of his life Ima Potter Crabtree whom he married April 2nd, 1966. Also surviving are his two sons, Steven Crabtree, and his fiancé’ Kathy King Cain, Richard Crabtree and his wife Jeanette. Three grandchildren, Kayla Crabtree, Derek Crabtree, and Noah Crabtree. Two brothers, Donald Crabtree, and his wife Lelia, Ronnie Crabtree and his wife Valencia, five sisters, Ernestine Shope and her husband Logan, Betty Neff and her husband Gary, Judy Kelly, and her husband Deze. Gloria Howard and her husband Darrell, and Karen Burchett and her husband Harold.
Funeral services will be 2:30 PM EST Tuesday, December 29th, 2020 at Victory Tabernacle Church of God 3129 KY-52 in Richmond, KY with Bishop Geral Richardson officiating, you may view the service via livestream on our website at www.davisandpowellfuneralhome.com burial will follow in the Madison County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Gary Lee Neff, Phillip Fox, James Fox, Derek Crabtree, Jamie Calmes, Noah Crabtree, Rick Conn, and Greg McKnight. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kenny Potter and Kayla Crabtree. Van Potter, age 85, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017 at his daughter’s home in Saint Paul, Virginia. Van was born in Knott County, Kentucky to the late Lewis and Polly Ann Bentley Potter. He was a retired pipefitter for the East Ohio Gas Company and a U.S. Army veteran.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife Nancy Bowman Potter; one son, Ricky Potter; two grandsons, Jared Potter and Larry C. Bowman; six siblings, Patrick Potter, frank Potter, Louie Potter, Elmer Potter, his twin brother Burn Potter and Elsie Hunsucker.
He is survived by his children, Michael (Debbie) Potter, Larry (Carla) Bowman, Kathie Crews, and Glenda (Wayne) Lane; one sister Mae Fleming; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11am, Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Lakes Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Himes officiating. Burial will follow in the Madison County Memorial Gardens with full military honors. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-9pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Ron Register, Adam Potter, Carey Lane, Wayne Lane, Dale Potter, and Gary Fleming. Honorary bearers will be his grandchildren, great grandchildren and two special caregivers, Lisa Kantsos and April Ingram.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband Waldo Fox this past February; and by three brothers, Melvin Potter, Jimmy Potter and Ellis Potter.

He is retired from the Cleveland Crane and Engineering Company and is a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a member of the Conway Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by two sons, Ernest Fleming, Robert May, one daughter Palma May, eight siblings John Fleming, Victor Fleming, Milton Fleming, Laura Johnson, Edith Coleman, Ruby Fleming, Opal Fleming and Estelle Fleming.

Vernon, Terry Potter (Jaime) of Richmond, Billy Ray Potter (Rebecca) of Berea; his daughters, Brenda Kay Crain of Mt. Vernon, Eva Alexander (Donald) of Berea, Cora E. Gabbert (Russell) of Berea, Alice M. Fowler (Billy) of Berea; his twin brother Van Potter of St. Paul, VA; his sister, Mary Fleming of Rockcastle County. 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Lewis and Polly Ann Bentley Potter; his son, David E. Potter and several brothers and sisters.

Ben Hunsucker age 80 of Woods Pointe Dr. Berea died Tuesday Sept. 18, 2007 at the St. Joseph Hospital on Lexington, KY. Ben was a retired Ohio Rubber Company employee and member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Berea.
Ben was preceded in death by his parents James Arlin and Cassie Belle Hammonds Hunsucker. His loving wife Elsie Potter Hunsucker and sister Mary Henry, and brothers John W, Harry D, Randall Hobert and Oscar Hunsucker.
Ben is survived by his children: Donna C Hunsucker of Berea, James C Hunsucker of Painesville OH, Brenda P Rocipko of Clarksville TN, and Stephen Hunsucker of Berea. Three brothers Dewey Hunsucker of Crossville TN, Samuel Hunsucker of Hillsboro OH, Marion Hunsucker of Newport TN, and sisters Doris Nell Fleming and Arlene Fleming both of Newport TN. 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren also survive.
