Carrie Willa Fleming Baker

Carrie Willa Fleming Baker, age 84 of Thornton, Kentucky, passed away on June 14, 2020 at her residence. She was born on January 15, 1936 in Pike County to the late "Big" Bill and Nannie Stewart Fleming. Carrie was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, Christian, and friend. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and a daily three mile walk.

Carrie leaves behind her husband, Ray, two sons, Randall (Kathy) Baker and Rondall (Missy) Baker all of Thornton, Ky.; two sisters, Wanda Damron of Lorain, Ohio and Ruby Boggs of Millstone, Ky.; 3 grandchildren: LaRanda (Tabby), Cody (Maggie), Holly (Jordan); 2 great grandchildren: Eli and Acacia.

Carrie was preceded in death by 8 brothers: Arnold, Grady, Virgil, Junior, Leo, Silas, Fred, and Harold; 5 sisters: Della, Myrtle, Bessie, Ollie, and Fayetta. Funeral: 2:30 O'clock P.M. Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Craft and Tim Muchon officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Baker Family Cemetery at Thornton, Kentucky.
