Ivalene Burke Bentley, 73, of Long Fork, Virgie, KY died Monday, Dec. 9, 2019, at Whitesburg ARH (Whitesburg, Letcher Co KY). She was born Oct. 6, 1946, the daughter of the late Sherman and Emogene Meade Burke Adams. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Bentley; three brothers, Dougie Adams, Felix Burke and Tony Adams; and two sisters, Maudie Burke and Ann Bentley. She is survived by two sons, Ronald Bentley (Molly), of Long Fork, and Danny Bentley (Jenny), of Sparta, Tenn.; two daughters, Madonna Keathley (Tom), of Nicholasville, and Condra Gaye Bentley, of Robinson Creek; one brother, Kenneth “Duke” Adams, of Collins; two sisters, Ruby Bentley, of Long Fork KY, and Sandy Wallace, of Elkhorn City KY; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of other dear family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Dec. 13, 2019, at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home Chapel with Church of Christ Ministers officiating. Burial will follow at the Frank Tackett Cemetery, Long Fork KY. Visitation will continue on Thursday, Dec. 12, at the funeral home with services beginning at 7 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hall & Jones Funeral Home of Virgie (KY)

Obituary for James "Jimmy" Bentley. James “Jimmy” Wilburn Bentley, 52 years of age, of the Left Fork of Long Fork of Virgie passed away July 24, 2018 at his residence. He was born August 11, 1965 to the late Con Bentley and Ivalene Burke Bentley of Left fork of Long Fork. Besides His mother he is survived by his wife; Stephanie Fletcher Bentley, one son; James Christian Bentley of Left Fork, three daughters; Tesla (Kenneth) Slone, Madison Bentley, Marissa Bentley, all of Left Fork, two brothers; Ronald Bentley of Left Fork, Danny Bentley of Sparta, TN, six sisters; Donna Keathley of Nicholasville, Condra Wilson of Robinson Creek, Talisha Nelson of Cloverport, KY, Sheena Johnson of Left Fork, Brittany Blair of Cloverport, KY, Cheyenne Bentley of Left Fork, and one granddaughter; Olivia Slone.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00PM at the Hall and Jones Funeral Home with Brad Taylor and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Bentley Family Cemetery in the Left Fork of Long Fork. Visitation will begin Wednesday at the Funeral Home after 6:00PM with services beginning nightly at 7:00PM.
