Before he died, Loranza Dowell (Dow) Boggs requested
permission from his first cousin, Monroe Boggs, to be buried on a hill
overlooking Monroe's home place. Of course, Monroe let Dow be buried there
as he had requested. There is only one other grave located in that burying
place, and that is the grave of Alex Milburn Boggs, son of Dow and
Frankie.
Frances Elizabeth Brummitt Boggs was affectionately
called "Aunt Frankie" by all the people who knew her, and that included
almost everyone around Pound, Virginia and Jenkins, Kentucky. Aunt Frankie
was a petite woman and wore her dark hair parted in the middle and pulled
into a bun at the back of her head. Her trademark was the string made of
rather large beads which she always wore around her neck. She loved to
travel and visit and was a regular attendee at the Old Regular Baptist
meetings. (Source).
