Obituary: Larceny Smith Combs

I will now try to write the obituary of my dear mother, Larceny Combs who departed this world March 3, 1977 at the age of 85 years, 9 months and 17 days. She was born May 12, 1891, the daughter of Hirman and Nancy Ann Grisby Smith. Larceny was the oldest of 9 children and all of them preceded her in death. She was the mother of nine children. She left to survive her, her husband, Shiloh, 4 sons Shevelery De Vaudrey, Shiloh Jr., Auston Clayton, and Levi P. Morton; 2 daughters - Hazel and Nancy Ann Fugate, 20 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Larceny's husband was united with the Clear Creek Regular Baptist Church August 19, 1944 and she followed him January 17, 1946.

Owens, Amy. Amy Ritchie was born on Jan 22,1921 to Frank Ritchie and Darcus Fuller Ritchie. She was married to Aaron Owens and had six children. Shelly Jean died as an infant. God blessed
her to have five other children: Alden, Geraldine, Howard, Denny and Everett. Her husband, Aaron, was called from his life suddenly on October 4,1985. She missed him so much. Amy, our mother, became very ill and God called her home to rest on February 27,1997. She was a Christian, and a member of the Summertown Old Regular Baptist Church. She will be greatly
missed by her family, friends and the Summertown Church, but we can rejoice because we believe we can meet her in Heaven. Written by her son, Howard Owens
