148 Descendants survive Jenkins man: Funeral services for Andrew Jackson Haynes, 82, were conducted Oct. 26 (1966) at the Bethel Regular Baptist Church in Jenkins (Letcher Co KY). Burial was in Letcher County Memorial Gardens. Mr. Haynes died Oct. 23 (1966) at th e Whitesburg hospital after a long illness. He is survived by 148 direct descendants. He was born in Dickenson County, Virginia, and was a son of the late G. W. and Rachel McFall Haynes.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Evelyn Hollyfield Haynes, Dunham; the following children, Alice Mullins of Payne Gap, Alonzia Stomel of Pennsylvania, Alpha Haynes of Detroit, Albert Haynes of Indiana, Alta Mae Blevins of Payne Gap, Alvin Haynes of New York, Alora Ratliff of Payne Gap, Alberta Blevins of Dunham, Allene Adkins of Payne Gap, Alfonso Haynes of Ohio and Alfred Haynes of Dunahm; a brother, Russell Haynes of Clintwood, VA.; 49 grandchildren, 81 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Polly and Craft Funeral Home had charge of funeral arrangements.
