Obituary: Susie Jane Hall Bentley

Susie Jane Bentley, daughter of Loretta (Hall) Meade and the late Luke Hall was born in Letcher County, Kentucky on October 20, 1935. She passed from this life at the Whitesburg Hospital Whitesburg, Kentucky on Saturday, February 10, 1996 making her stay here on earth 60 years, 3 months and 20 days.
Susie married Cecil Bentley at Whitesburg, Kentucky on December 16, 1950.
Susie was preceded in death by her step father Limons Meade who raised her since childhood, eight brothers and sisters and two grandchildren Jason Lee, Bentley an Bridget Michelle Mullins.
Susie has been ill for 32 years but that hasn't keep her from enjoying family, friends and life to the fullest. She would travel at the drop of a hat and never even ask where she was going. She loved to talk and carry on with a great deal of merriment. She's been a member of the Hemphill Church of Christ since 1955.
Susie is survived by her husband Cecil of Jackhorn; mother Loretta Meade of Deane; daughters: Patricia Amburgey, Elaine Amburgey both of Millstone; Nettie Bentley of Cottondale, Ala; sons: Gary Wayne, Larry and Darrell Bentley all of Cottondale, Ala; sister Mary Hughes of, Deane; brothers: Paul Meade, Don Hall both of Deane; Noah Hall of Ermine. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
