Holcomb, Arthur “Jimmy”, age 50, of Brownstown, May 6, 2010. Loving father of Eddie Holcomb. Dearest brother of Clyde (Mary), Dale Kenneth, Randall (Mary), Martha Chavis, Rita (Eddie) Gilland and John (Wendy). He was dearly loved and will be missed by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Dana Holcomb and his sister, Arzilla.

Willa Mae Holcomb McCarthy
McCARTHY, Willa Mae Holcomb, age 81, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016 in Wake Medical Hospital, Raleigh, North Carolina, while visiting with family since December 25, 2015. She was born January 26, 1934 in Firebrick, Kentucky. Willa was a mother and homemaker, and was a 42 year member of the Calvary Christian Center in New Miami, Ohio. She was an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Willie T. and Edna McCray Holcomb; her husband, Charles I. McCarthy in 2008; one granddaughter, Katie Beth Watson; four brothers, John. Phillip, Lonnie and Prince Holcomb; and one sister, Cora Smith.

She is survived by six children, Ron (Joann) Prince, Donnie (Claudette) Prince, Fred (Kim) Watson, Kevin McCarthy, Pam (Mike) Mursek and Patsy (Joe) McKay; ten grandchildren, Shawna, Ron, Mark, Jason, Jeremy, Kristen, Courtney, Brandon, Amanda and Michael; 21 great grandchildren; four brothers, Archie Holcomb, Fate Holcomb, Wes (Mary) Holcomb and Claude (Sandy) Holcomb; one sister, Brenda Sue Bair; many nieces and nephews and numerous friends.

Visitation will be Friday, January 22, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown, followed by services at 12:00 noon with Pastors Jim and Diane Mullins officiating.

Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park, Trenton, Ohio. Arrangements by Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown, OH.

HOLCOMB, Philip E. age 70, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Atrium Medical Center where he has been a patient for five days. He was born October 7, 1940 in Millstone, Kentucky.

He was employed as a crane operator for B. G. Danis Heavy and Highway Division, and Schumacher Crane Rental. He was a member of the Ohio Operator Engineers, the Loyal Order of Moose #501, and Orioles Nest #193.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Willie and Edna McCray Holcomb; one daughter, Barbie Holcomb; four brothers, Clyde, Prince, John and Lonnie Holcomb; one sister, Cora Davis; and one brother-in-law Charlie McCarthy.

He Is survived by his loving friend, Karen Weber; one daughter, Sheila McGlosson, husband Riley; two sons, Jeffrey and Benjamin Holcomb; two grandsons, Jeffrey and Jacob Holcomb; four brothers, Archie Holcomb, wife Rose, Claude Holcomb, wife Sandy, Fate Holcomb, friend, Dee, Wes Holcomb, wife Mary; two sisters, Mae McCarthy and Sue Bair, and husband Merv; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 26, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown, followed by Moose Lodge Services at 1:00 p.m., and funeral services, with Rev. Jimmy and Diane Mullins officiating.

Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Madison Township, OH. Arrangements by Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown, OH.

Lafayette "Fate" Holcomb Age 74 of Middletown, OH passed away Sunday evening 20 Nov 2016 in Whitesburg, Kentucky. He was born in Millstone, Kentucky August 7, 1942, the son of Willie T. Holcomb and Edna Mae (McCray) Holcomb. He was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Army.

Fate is survived by his daughter, Tammy Holcomb; a son, Shane (wife, Kimberly) Holcomb; step son, Jerry (wife, Vickie) Cornett; five grandchildren, Garrett, Skylar, Addisyn, Dillon and Tara; a great granddaughter, Alaina; his sister, Sue Bair; and three brothers, Archie Holcomb, Wes (wife, Mary) Holcomb, and Claude (wife, Sandy) Holcomb.

He was preceded in death by sisters, Mae McCarthy and Cora Davis; brothers, Clyde, Prince F., John, Lonnie and Philip.

Visitation will be from 5-8:00 pm Friday, November 25 at the Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday at the funeral home with Reverend Mike Trimble officiating. Burial will be at the Woodside Cemetery with military honors by the U. S. Army
