Obituary of Ira J Napier: BUCYRUS (Richland Co OH) -- Ira J. Napier, 85, of 984 River Roaddied Friday, March 18, 2005, at MedCentral/ Mansfield Hospital. He was born in Stiltner, West Virginia to Mose and Angelina (Sailor) Napier. On July 7, 1960 he married Virginia Moore and she survives. Other survivors include six children daughters Pat Brewer, Amanda Lester & Phyllis Young and sons Tony Napier, Tom & Earl Webb, special granddaughter Iraetta Brooks, 17 grandchildren, 21 great- grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister. He moved to the area in 1953 from West Virginia and worked as a mechanic at the former Lakeway boats and for twenty five years for Swan retiring in 1978. He proudly served in the Navy as a ship engineer during W.W.II and was a member of the Bucyrus Freewill Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling. Calling hours will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home. Funeral will be Tuesday March 22 at the Freewill Baptist Church at 11 a.m. with Pastor Lewis Copley and Chris Stewart officiating. Burial with military honors provided by the American Legion Post #181 will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
